Kids say the darndest things

I thought I'd jot down a few of the things I remember them saying. May add more later!

When his mother asked him if something was dirty, this guy ran his finger over it and then declared, "Nope. It's clean as a rhino."

This little girl saw a picture of our 16th president on the wall of my library, pointed to it and said, "Hey, look! It's Hammerhead Lincoln!"

When this guy found out his mom and dad were hosting Thanksgiving, he was worried. "Where are they all going to park?"

His mom said, "They can park on the driveway or the street, or if they have to, they can park in the yard."

He sighed, his shoulders slumping. "That's an awful lot of work," he replied.

Grandson told Granddaughter Daddy had already left for work and she missed him. Granddaughter - "Daddy came in and gave me a kiss while I was sleeping"... Grandson- "How do you know if you were sleeping?" Granddaughter - "I was sleeping, but my ears were on."

Little granddaughterl likes to say, with fist clenched, "give'em a piece of your mind". It's from the "Expert" video her daddy plays for her.

Portrait day

These two buddies attend the same day care and are less than a year apart in age.

The two older granddaughters (who are sisters).

My son's family.

My older daughter's family.

We had fun with hats.

We didn't have to coax my oldest grandson to put on his hat.

This is the new Rat Pack.

These are my biological grandkids.

The older two grandsons, ages 5 and 4.

And here are all the grandkids, ages 16, 14, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 22 months, and 2 months.

Grandchild Number 6

On October 8, our sixth biological grandchild was born. Granddaughter #3 was a scheduled C-section and she came out plump and perfect.
She is quite likely the last in the line.

The photo above was taken on her birth day.

Here she is on her first Halloween. She was dressed up like a Halloween ballerina. How precious!

She learned how to smile near her 2 month birthday.

Here she is just before her first Christmas parade.

I bought all the grandkids dress up outfits for an official portrait. This isn't the official portrait, but she's wearing the dress I picked out.
