Pastor Tim Brooks message
I spent about a half hour today with a man who is dying. At a certain point, he seemed to ask to sit up in his bed and the comment was made that he was "taking it all in." Good for him, with as little life as he had left in him, he wanted to live, to be social, to enjoy those around him.
It got me thinking: (and this is no reflection on the way Lee has lived his life - he is very loved and loved very well) Are we waiting for death to live? How often do we stop and just notice the ones we love around us, sit up and smile, take it all in? We are blessed, and life is short. Take it all in and account even the little things as tremendous blessings.
